Special Touches
We tried to make our heavy glass slider invisible and maintenance-free with our c10 polish that keeps water spots out of the glass pores.
We put a hole through the left panel because we didn’t want any hardware to show.
We put the header of the door on the ceiling behind the wood beam where it would kind of look like a rustic cave or a mine shaft.
Unusual Dimensions
When the tile layer is done we go and visit with the customer and see what style they are looking for. We discuss hardware, color, and style of the pulls (one of our goals is to not use headers if possible without being dangerous).
We use a laser to get the outages horizontal and vertical on curbs and walls.
Chances are that there are going to be outages.
So when we are done, the heavy glass enclosure or door looks like everything is level and plumb when it’s not.
We also like to use C10 polish or Guardian Glass so that the glass is easy to clean. Most people are not going to dry it off or squeeze it off with each use. This extra feature prevents the glass from becoming hard to clean in a couple of months.
